Welcome fellow students and teachers today I will be discussing the medical drug know as steroids in political anabolic steroids.

This drug has many good uses but it can also be used in bad ways by bad people but not all are bad some have just lost there way like the baseball star Alex Rodriguez. He was not the only one to be found with drugs in his system in fact over 104 people where found but only Mr Rodriguez confessed which helped him lose jail time.

So now that you now one of the famous sports stars that have fallen thanks to this medical drug, it is time to talk Bout the good. Steroids can be found in so many shapes and forms but the type I am discussing anabolic steroids this type of steroid helps strength arms and legs after they have had surgery. But they Can only be given out and legally used if a person has a script and doctors note.

Anabolic steroids effect the body by enhancing the way your body naturally strengthens the muscle this is done by some thing called protein synthesis and cellular repair. muscle is made up of of something called skeletal muscle containing protein, bundles of this fibre makes up the muscle. some scientists say that anabolic steroids can be used correctly and their is a safe way to use the drug others say that they can kill. Other side effects of anabolic steroids can be cosmetic for men and women. For men the changes can be survey achy on the back and face as well as gynecomastia which is the enlargement of a mans chest. For woman the changes can be loss of hair, growth of a beard, permanent deeping of the voice,and shrinkage if the breasts. This is all caused by a imbalance of hormones in the morning human
