Over the last eighteen years she has been fighting a mystery disease no doctor has been able to find a cure for or even find medicine to give her relief from the pain on a regular basis. At times she has not been able to stand on her feet because of the severe pain. She has a continued prescription of the steroid Prednisone so she can have it filled within hours when the pain immobilizes her. If this isn’t enough, a few years ago she fell at work and got a concussion which left her in constant pain. My dad bought a used spa and got it running for her to have a little relief while she was in the water. But since she cannot stay in the spa all the time, the pain once again ruled her life. When the doctors could not find where the pain could be coming from, they decided it was in her mind and gave her antidepressants as a solution.
