In fifth grade (age eleven) the last thing that a girl should be worried about is that she has to face consequences for being a girl. It was a normal day in class, when the constantly annoying boy behind her was again acting out and making fun of her friends. She turns around to “talk it out”. This turnarounds turns into a complete accident when she forgot she had a pencil in her hand and she had accidently scratched the boys face with the pencil. Accidents happen all the time, especially in elementary school where kids act out. For our individual, this accident was not treated as an accident. The boy immediately lied and said it was on purpose, so she got sent to the Vice Principal's office. Anonymous, then got OSS (out of school suspension) for 3 days for a freak accident. This wasn’t the part that angered her and her family. A few months later, this same boy was at it again. He brought a laser pointer into school (considered a weapon) and started pointing
