In the United States, women are unfairly treated compared to men. For centuries, women were looked down upon in society due to social structures; however, throughout time, women have proved themselves worthy of being acknowledged. In society, women have been mistreated and have fought against it: gender gap,stereotypes, many forms of sexual harassment, and have participated in many forms of protests. Basic payments such as groceries, bills, and fee prices have gone up through time; consequently; pay roll from jobs have gone down. In today’s society, it is nearly impossible to live comfortably on a single person’s pay To assist in managing money, women in America have decided to receive jobs; nevertheless, “U.S median wage gap is 80% of men’s.”

A strong, negative, instigator of this belief is due to old and modern day television broadcasts. Many films today do not have a strong female lead character; however, the female parts in films shows their character as a sexy women who may possibly be shown nude. With this criteria with female roles, producers make more money, because this keeps viewers intrigued. Producers are under the impression that women and young girls will observe a film with a strong female character along with male lead characters, but at the same time, producers will lose the vast majority of their male audience if the lead character is a female; nevertheless, the male population will continue to watch a film with a male character lead. Women are under the impression that they cannot be strong and save the world; in contrast, women can do anything a man is capable of doing; however, after observing so many films against that, women do not see their potential. The female population sees women in films in need of being rescued by a male, and that needs to change, so women can see their full potential, and realize that they can do anything they put their mind to with hard work and dedication. This is exceptionally important for young women to observe. Children are the most easily influential individuals. Giving young girls the belief and encouragement of being capable of doing what she put her mind to will give her the encouragement she
