In teaching, just as in every other profession or activity in our world, there are rotten parts throughout. Through these parts stereotypes are created and reputations are ruined. Due to this, many people see teachers as somebody they are not. They see them as the teacher who was on the news due to a sex scandal or a teacher who blew off the class and impacted the lives of nobody. However, they do not realize that their aspects on that of teachers has been ruined due to the miniscule percentage of nationally recognized stereotypes. Those that see teachers as something less than they are, have had their viewpoints distorted so horribly that they do not recognize what a miraculous teacher looks like. To them teachers are all the same. They care for nobody but themselves and are there only because they have to be, however the majority of teachers do not act or respond this way. They are there because they want to be there. They know that they can impact the lives of others and that each day is a new day to pursue the happiness that one strives for. The media allows these wonderful teachers images to be distorted beyond repair, and those that have trouble recognizing a good teacher are those that continue the
