Rosacea is an incurable skin condition that is very common and is characterized by redness of the facial area, often accompanied by pimples. There are four subtypes of Rosacea. Each subtype has its own set of symptoms. The first type of Rosacea is facial redness, the most common and most mild of the four types. Some symptoms of this type include persistent redness, flushing, and visible blood vessels. Bumps and pimples, the second subtype of Rosacea, is also extremely common. It is characterized by persistent redness along with bumps, often filled with pus. This subtype is often mistaken for regular acne, but cannot be treated as such.
