What Are The Pros Of Being Home Schooled

What would you do if you had a choice to be home schooled or go to a public school? So many parents these days just automatically think they want their children to go to a public school, but do they really put that much thought into it? What if they let their children decide what they wanted to do? The child may think, “Wow, can I really be home schooled? I would love to learn in my pajamas!” What would their social life be like then? Would their friends stop communicating with them? People are always so quick to judge other’s life, and they may not even know much about it, if any. Although there are all sorts of stereotypes in regards to being home schooled, there are many benefits that go along with it. Home schooling is when a child’s parent or caregiver provide them with their academic and social education without actually sending them off to school. Because they have limitations to interaction, they may sometimes be called “socially handicapped”. They do not get to be that open to the diversity of beliefs and backgrounds compared to other students who do go public schools, so they do not get presented different perspectives and lifestyles. To actually receive a well complete education, students have to engage in conversations while sharing ideas with other students. It really helps decide how students solve problems, and it impacts their behavior and goals.
Looking at it any way, there can be a lot of disadvantages to it. A lot of parents that decide to home school are very motivated, but they just lack the power to perform and do not have the best preparation to provide adequate information to their kids (Romanowski, 2001). Educators and policymakers are always uncertain and wonder whether parents that are not actually certified to teach are able to teach their children effectively after the age of 5 (Ray,
