Despite so many advancements in the world related to food, medicine, education and many more to ease humans in every walk of life, the very basic and naïve psychology remains the same and so does human behavior. The rate of harassment and bullying at workplace is increasing day by day which is very shocking. Many reported cases of bullying and harassment that come in our sight have one thing in common, the reasons why victims are bullied? Typical examples of bullying at workplace are:

RESULTS:
All these surveys showed that the awareness among the masses had been increased a little bit with time and so does the bullying and harassment without people being aware of it. People don’t speak up. The result of each survey is as following.
AWARE survey in 2008 :
The result showed that 54% (272) responded to have experienced numerous forms of it. Out of 272 people, 27 % have experienced harassment by their fellow colleagues while 17% have experienced this by their boss or superior authority. It also presented that female victim’s accounts for 79% and males are 21%. It was seen that these incidents were common on executive level and fewer at higher post.333 (66.6%) people were unaware of any policies or rights that protect them from this while 50.6% were aware of the policies or the HR person to report to if they had encountered any kind of the incident. Both these surveys conferred that 35% faced this out of which 9% are presently facing it, while 15% people have witnessed this problem. Based on gender bullying it is observed that same gender bullying is higher as showed that 38% are the females bully out of which 80% is female-female and 205 female-male. Out of 62% male bullies, 56% are male-male and 46% are male-female. Survey 1 also revealed that that when they were asked about whether they support or oppose the law pass to protect people from bullying, it was seen that 64%people supported that theory, 24% opposed that theory while 12% have no opinion regarding
