1. In my own experience, no. But I think that’s because I’m someone who is super focused on what makes up a person (personality-wise), rather than appearance. However, I know that the ‘attractiveness stereotype’ is valid. I know it’s perpetuated in the media (like the cliché bullies in movies always being attractive, but people still liking them regardless, just because they are good looking), but there also is a basis in real life, as well. Especially when it comes to people trying to find a partner- as long as the person they’re after, or already with, is attractive, suddenly they have great personalities (even if they don’t).
