All these shows, whether they still air or not, have one characteristic in common: they all show an American way of Life in the United States that usually, isn’t completely real.
Whether these shows tell the story of New York’s golden youth, the incredible story of two young teenagers playing in a musical play of their high school and falling in love, or a bully who will intentionally take anyone they walk by down.
What do movie or TV show producers try to show in their work? Are we witnessing an intentional desire to attract people to the United States? Why not show what high schools and colleges really look like? Is this way of showing the world what the American way of Life looks like in the best conditions? To what extent can we say that the movies show the reality of teenage life of Americans?
