In the film pride, there is a lot of prejudice. We see prejudice aimed at both the miners, and the LGSM group. The LGSM group was a group of lesbians and gays who wanted to help the miners. In the beginning of the film, we see the LGSM, who are watching a news report on the miners. They see how the miners are treated, and decide to help them. They start collecting money, but all of the mining towns they call, refuse the money, because they do not want money from the LGSM.
