Yes it is wrong to create stereotypes. Stereotyping is wrong because it makes people become close-minded. If a person is stereotypical, they are not open to see the truth of how a specific person really is. They might miss out on an amazing and beautiful person. Stereotyping is also wrong because it can be offensive to the people who are being stereotyped. Stereotyping can also influence others to stereotype.

It makes a person decide between right and wrong no matter who they are and no matter who the other person is. In the movie, the characters were faced with deciding whether to help someone or hurt them.

In my opinion, the filmmaker chose humanity over hatred and discrimination. In most cases in the film, no one was hurt. At the very end, I feel that the filmmaker wanted to show an example of what can happen as a result of stereotyping. The police officer had an African American man reach in his pocket, and the police officer shot him out of fear even though the man was unarmed. I feel that the filmmaker included this to show that it happens in reality.

We are referring to the sequence in which people are hurt or threatened. Even though we may not hurt someone directly, if we ignore it, to let it happen, we may as well be causing the problem
