Stereotypes In Favor Of School Uniforms

Do you think that students should wear, or mandate a type of dress code that aren’t fair? If so, do you think that students will not have the ability to express who they are by wearing certain types of clothes?Do you realize that some parents aren’t able to afford them? School uniforms may be good, but it has bad side effects to it also. Students believe that they don’t have the opportunity to express themselves. “In August of 2007, the district announced: it would relax its dress code for the time being to allow images and fabrics other than solid colors. You wouldn’t expect them to be able to have enough money to buy their child a shirt, a pant, or a skirt just for their child to go to school without a problem. “ Dozens” of children have been sent home from school because their parent cannot afford uniforms, according to sheelagh cooper of the coalition for the protection of children.” (Jonathan Bell) This isn’t fair for both parents and students. Parents because it is not their fault that they weren’t able to afford their child’s uniforms. The schools don’t even have a clue on why the parents weren’t able to afford it. They shouldn’t just assume that everybody will be able to pay for it. It isn’t fair for children because they have to be sent home if they don’t have uniforms to wear at schools. This will cause students to not be able to have a good education because they would be missing a lot of days. “ Also some people can’t afford to buy uniforms for school. Some people may not even be able to go to school because of how expensive have to buy uniforms is. That is not fair to the kids who want to go to school and get a good education but can’t because of how expensive uniforms are.”(Kaitlyn) Uniforms are expensive and not all kids are responsible enough to be grateful for what they have by taking good care of it. Also kids grow everyday, then the uniform will be smaller, and then you would have to get new
