The group of women with body art are being judge in a wrong way. Tattooed and pierced women have their sexual intercourse at relatively younger ages. Pierced and tattooed women are unhappy and use their body art as a shock tactic. Women with piercings act tough, are promiscuous, and bitches. Exaggerated stereotypes as these give people a wrong illustration of women. Perhaps some do tell the truth about females with tattoos, but that does not involve every woman that is included in the same group. Now stereotypes can be exaggerated, but it is telling the truth in a way. Even though stereotypes are true, they do tend to have an exaggeration on some parts and sometimes it can expand the truth further than it is. While misconceptions are making false statements about these women that are victims. Misconceptions can come from anyone or anywhere, people hear them, but they do not know where it comes. An easy way to remember misconceptions is by thinking that they are nothing but rumors provoked by others to give a wrong image of something or someone. Stereotypes and misconceptions both different, but can cause a great deal of misunderstandings among people. I have been criticized for having a tattoo, people would say that I was ignorant and that I would regret it; but still to this day I know I did right instead of wrong because it is a memory that will never leave my side.
