Discrimination according to McLeod S. (2008) simply means the behavior or actions, which are usually negative towards individuals or group of people, especially on the basis of sex, gender, race, social class and so forth whereas prejudice is an unjustified or negative attitude towards an individual based solely on individual’s membership of a social group, for example a person may hold prejudiced views towards a certain race or gender and that person may be regarded as sexist.
