Not only did this book explain that whipping children is abuse it made change my actions. In this book it explain that blacked were told to weapon their children because they wasn’t as child was a good as a white children. This made me understand this was inappropriate to treat any children this way. As Stacy Quoted “I just thought this was normal or a Black thing”. For me I felt as she was telling some of my life story over that I had to as experiences growing as a child. I felt if this book was made just for me, as that I would learn for it as take something from it. I would say this book really educated myself and I will be to give my children the best in the future just from this one book. Everything was very clearly also it was like watching a movie about a child who would’ve made you want to provide and apperceive her childhood precious life that her Adoptive parents Myrtle and George that took for granted.
