Everyone who has a car had went to the mechanic because sometimes people cannot fix their car, when people see that instead of a men the mechanic is a woman people think that it is not a work for women so people refuses to have a female mechanic to work on cars just because of the stereotypes they have about women. An stereotype is a fixed, overgeneralized belief about a particular group or a class of people. Misconceptions are a view or opinion that is incorrect because it is based on faulty thinking or understanding. Stereotypes and misconceptions exist because when people see someone from a group they infer a lot of things but people do not if those things are right or not, sometimes people know someone from a group and because of this person people think all persons in that one group have the same characteristics or do the same things.
