Stereotypes Against Working Women

Not only is it the fact that women adapt quickly but, women are not very demanding like men are. Women will not rebel against the owner. This type of relationship causes an atmosphere of shame, scorn, anxiety, and emotional blackmail within the work place. This atmosphere forces the figure of the working women to be criticize. The firm only picks the applicant with the best characteristics that fits their needs. Most of these women are single mother because they are less likely to become pregnant. They also know that many of these women would take any job because they truly need it to care for their children and themselves. Many single mother do not have stable child care place to leave their children so most of the time the kids are left alone. Some mother would turn off all the light so that the kids would not electrocute themselves; others would look them in the house so they cannot escape; others would just give them tranquilizers so that their children can stay out of trouble. These mothers put their child life at risk instead of starting a movement for a child care within the maquiladoras. The maquiladoras workers would be in charge of the child but, many were afraid to take a stand.
