Little did I know though that being a cashier was somehow a worse fate than the Myth of Sisyphus like task I was presented beforehand. The very first person I had to attend was a visibly upset pregnant lady who’s gender reveal cake ended up being the wrong color. You can just imagine the fire coming outta of her mouth the very moment she laid her eyes on me someone who was mistakenly thought responsible for such mistake. I don't remember much of what she said that day I just remembered standing there taking all the heat from her words as I blankly stared at her face. Thing such as “Idiot,” “I want a refund,” were thrown around as well as the oh so predictable “Can I speak to the manager,” ending it all off. A bit spiteful I just stood there a few seconds staring at her with most mundane face possible and simple said “This is literally my first time ever attending the front, but i'll get you the manager.” as I slowly walked to my bosses desk expecting a some sorta apology but I was meet with deaf
