Stereotype Realism

Stereotype, Realism, and the Struggle Over Representation Realism is the attitude of accepting situation. In media today, there is no sense of realness. The media does not reflect the daily life of many American. In real life, there are multiple races and religion but on tv white people are mostly shown. On tv, there are no black people who represent me or act like me. Like in reality tv, there is no realness there. It is just people playing over the top characters in order to get money. On reality tv, they only show people who are living a very lavish life-style. They show life-styles that most people which they could live.

So when people from around the world view our movies they would only believe the stereotypes about a race because that is all they know. This would allow other races to believe that on race is inferior to them due to their representation in the media.

The Nihilistic Threat to Black America The nihilistic threat is the loss of hope. Although people will say it is oppression or exploitation that is the biggest threat to Black People. The loss of hope could stop people from changing the world. A loss of hope can cripple the population. Without hope we would lose to the will to fight. The majority wants us to lose the will to fight because then we would do what they want us to do without the use of force.

Both democrats and republicans believe that they can save black people from threats but they do not try to save us from losing hope. Democrats try to help us by increasing minimum wage or expanding healthcare. They also give money to help poor communities. The republican would tell us that if we worked hard we can achieve anything but at the same time they would decrease the funding of projects that we need to survive. They tell us all of these amazing things as though the system is equal and we all can achieve the same thing if we worked
