To my surprise, all I see is the man staring down at his mobile phone.

I suddenly realise I actually have no idea where the plane is going to take me but I decide against asking when I see his face. He looks completely shattered. Jeremy may be my big brother but he has always needed me to get through things. We have always had each other’s back, even through the little things. We are called forward and as the man weighs my bags and tags the handbag I am holding, Jeremy goes to get my ticket printed. He finishes just a few minutes after me and hands me my ticket and passport. We walk towards the escalators and stop a few yards away and face each
