Most people know Stephen as the first martyr of the Christian faith, but I believe that we also should remember how great he was before his martyrdom. Stephen was described as a man that was full of God's grace and power, that alone is a description worth striving for. In addition to this, the first mention of Stephen in the Book of Acts records him as a man who performed many signs and miracles among the people, yet another description that is worth striving for. Throughout the short time that we read about Stephen, we see that he is an incredible man of God that is led by the Spirit in his words and actions.
