However, Stephen Kings perfection of writing, places emphasis on a young boy overcoming his hurdles to save the one’s he loves. “ “Silver Bullet” is not just a typical terrifying film but a story with a lesson about overcoming your fears and trusting in one another. Stephen King was brilliant to add a mix of comedy to lighten the mood of the film. Renowned Film critic Roger Ebert reviewed the film on his website just after it’s release. In Ebert’s review of Silver Bullet he stated that the film was in the wrong genre and should be labeled a comedy.
