Some of the theme that occur in the movie Stepford Wives are patriarchy and feminism and the issues that are introduced in the movie was that women are just housewife and they should just give up everything to pursue this. However, there women are standing up to fight against this issue. For example, when Joanna and Bobbie decide to hold a women meeting to talk about the problems but instead the other “housewives” started to talk about cleaning and cooking which are the domestic chores.
