I want to gain more knowledge as to my topic is controversial and see from other perspectives. I am researching this topic to gain insight into social and religious ethics, and to find the reasons as to why such a promising field of study that has many possibilities is being held back my political views. My purpose in writing about this topic is to help my audience understand the importance of research and the ethical issues involved, so they can have a say in whether they do or do not support human embryonic cell research. Informing the young population is crucial, we are in a time era where millennials are the deciding factor for many causes. Millennials are more socially engaged in society and the progression of our society, stem cell research is a scholarly topic that many young people who are not interested in science are unaware of.
