He explains that it is socially unacceptable to kill someone within an induced coma, where they have a possibility of waking – no matter that they are not sentient or feeling during that period of time. This human would share the characteristics with an embryo of not feeling, despite being alive. However, they are viewed as not LIVING or FEELING, in spite of having the potential to. Therefore, it is unacceptable to terminate prospective life.
Another reason for the opposition to stem cell research is the potential creation of idealistic, “designer” babies, as genetic code can be reprogrammed through this, although the development of this chain of research is against the law past 14 days, as it rids us of
