America is the Land of Opportunity where everyone across the world wants to come to have a better life than they had at their country. Not only was America a land of opportunity but a land of freedom where everyone has rights and are equal. Many immigrants wanted to have the freedom and rights that the Americans had, so they all ditched their homes and traveled to America hoping to be taken in and start a new life. America’s promise is that everyone has an opportunity to have a future, therefore many immigrants want to come to America to be free. The Statue of Liberty is a main attraction to the world, representing America as a free world and everyone has the right to have a future. The message of the statue of liberty to the U.S. and the whole world is peace, paragraph 11. It’s a way to tell everyone that any boy or girl can have a common future.
