STATEMENT OF ACADEMIC PURPOSE
“Education is the most powerful weapon that can be used to change the world” as quoted by Nelson Mandela stands true and for the same reason I feel fortunate to have parents, teachers and friends who always have been supportive of my aspirations for education and knowledge.
I was fascinated with the amazing system of our Human Body and decided that I want to uncover the secrets of its workings, at an early age. With passing time, my desire to pursue Human Biology has only grown stronger. To realize this dream, I worked hard on my studies and achieved high scores in my pre-bachelors studies, coming overall 3rd in the College.
By faring well in the extremely competitive exams I got admitted for Bachelor of Dental Surgery. In my undergraduate courses, I aced the subjects like Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry and etc. In-spite of my bed ridden condition I managed to score decent grades and …show more content…
I had fruitful conversations with my faculty and seniors who suggested your university as one among the best universities for this program. After going through the program website, I was aware of essential information regarding the faculty, the core curriculum and the Internship, which convinced that studying at your University, I would be able to quench the thirst of Health Informatics and venture out into various subject domains. The program focused on the topics like Data base management, Health information systems, EHR and Health information exchange which are quite essential in the field of Health informatics. The well experienced faculty at the University drives students to learn the various applied aspects of the subject enabling them in mastering the field. In the near future I would like to grow with an organization where I can utilize the gained knowledge and experience with social
