Working as a NYC Teaching Fellow would enable me to develop my abilities in facilitating student achievement. In the past I have held teaching positions which have both utilized and informed my overall teaching methods.
Like many of the education professionals I know, I have never stopped at my job description or ever given up based on the work environment. This tenacity was useful when I worked at a start-up environmental program for Spanish students aged 10-17. I was the first native English speaker the program had ever hired and the curriculum adapted around my abilities and suggestions.
