Ever since I was a child, being an officer in the United States Air Force has been my calling in life. It is difficult to think of a greater honor than to serve a greater purpose. live my dream of being an officer in the Air Force, and give back to a country that has done so much for my family. Coming from a family originating from Cuba with nothing more than the wish to succeed, I have been born and raised in a family who has inspired me to take every opportunity and make the best out of it. The unrelenting desire I have to join the long blue line at United States Air Force Academy isn’t a wish that came to mind during high school, it’s a wish I have carried all throughout my life.
