With the skills I will develop at IU Bloomington, I would love to be able to pursue a musical career in composing music, or being a singer/ songwriter. Besides music, however, I would like to try my luck at being an actor, improve my acting skills, my singing ability, and possibly become an actor for film/ television, and/ or becoming a broadway singer. Furthermore, I would like to span my wings and dive into pursuing a career in writing, astronomy/ astrophysics, and becoming either a surgeon or veterinarian. I enjoy being…

Although we have troubles, I don’t express my emotions of that matter, but rather be who I am, which is being happy and making every day possible. Interests, goals and accomplishments is driven by a motive. Behind all motives comes a story and my story of motivations started when a couple left their home island, in doing so they sacrificed their culture, identify, and their family to set sail on a windy sea to search a better future. The husband experiencing the life beyond the islands knew what the future hold for their children if they were to not make sail to the State capital. After my sixth or seventh month in my degree, I started to question myself and think a lot more precise about what I wanted to do after I graduate and also trying to find the specific field in which my passion was truly involved. During this time, I was already taking my first show production overview type of classes, in which I was already being introduced to a whole different world with a large…

I would like to extend my sincerest thanks for taking your time to consider my candidacy for the Educational Psychology/School Psychology program at the University of Wisconsin. I have always been drawn to behavioral psychology, the phenomenon of learning, and educational processes. After discovering that I had a special talent for working with children and at-risk youth, I eagerly began my academic pursuit in elementary education. With ever-increasing learning demands, and limited time and resources, I quickly learned that inevitably some children fail to perform adequately among their peers.
