I would like to participate in The Next Chapter because I have always been very interested in history, and also people’s experiences relating to historical events. I enjoy learning more about what and who came before us. I feel it would be a life-changing event hearing about what these people have gone through, and how hard they struggled to survive.
My experience with studying the history of the Holocaust has been mostly on my own, but I would be very interested in learning more about European History, specifically about the Holocaust. I have read many books about it and also first-hand accounts such as The Diary of Anne Frank. I feel we need to learn about our history, especially genocides, to prevent them from happening again.
