My freshman year of high school was not so great I felt as if I could have done much better.I had a great start but lost focus at the end. I struggled to adjust from Jr. High to High School. So when my sophomore year came, I laid my goals out in front of me and worked diligently to meet them. I met those goals and achieved honor status for my entire sophomore and junior year. Immediately I was promoted from the junior varsity team to the varsity team. It is rare to be on Varsity as a freshman. The varsity team requires a lot of travel. I was excited for the opportunity but learn I had to change my studying habits and schedule. Assignment deadlines became more complex. I found myself getting home late nights tired from games and practices leaving hardly anytime to study. I refused to let this interfere with my assignments . Many times I met these challenges by studying late hours in the night and on the bus. While being on the cheerleading team I've enjoyed working with my teammates and mastering cheer stunts we never thought we could accomplish.
