My volunteer experience in the ER has contributed to my fascination with emergency medicine. Being an ER physician necessitates functioning well with nurses, ER technicians, and other doctors in a team setting. I believe that quality healthcare is the result of different professionals knowing their roles and working together to meet the needs of patients. Rush Medical College offers courses, training, and research activities centered around interprofessionalism that will help me strengthen cooperative skills and improve my understanding of the various professions in the medical field.
