Statement Of Purpose: Regency Theatres Plant

Decent Essays
I am currently a junior in high school looking for a challenge to handle work and school, as well as extra curricular activities. I have grown up to see Regency Theatres Plant 16 establish shortly after the previous theater had shut down. Whenever I come to this movie theater I always feel welcomed by the friendly staff and reasonable ticket pricing. I love watching this place grow; I remember the soda dispensers used to be in concessions, but now there's two coca-cola machines with many flavors to choose from! Living in this community for almost 17 years has made me feel attached to the variety of stores The Plant has to offer. I have been a local customer to this movie theatre for many years, and I feel it's time to give back and serve as

In class we discussed a case study called “The Theater Budget” about an organization called Greater Euclid Little Theater, which is a small group of adults staging performances. It is with great pleasure that I submit an application for the Marketing Growth Analyst position offered by Ampush. I learned about Ampush from personal research and became interested in your company’s unique approach to marketing strategy and campaigns. When I first learned of Ampush, I was immediately taken by your mission to cater an individual advertising experience for each one of your company partners rather than trying to find a one-size-fits-all strategy for every single project. Ampush’s focus on instead developing strategies that target the individual needs of each project resonates strongly with my experiences in the arts at Williams. With each theatrical production I worked on, I was encouraged to analyze and understand the show…

My mother first introduced me to the idea of Wagner, raving about its theatre program, arguing I was a perfect fit. Growing up less than an hour from Boston, I slightly tasted city life throughout my childhood; yet always wanted to be a part of something bigger than a middle class town. Wagner’s location blends NYC life with my hometown environment, appealing to both sides of my personality. Further influenced my by mother’s review, I began researching Wagner’s website, where I discovered the Port Richmond Partnership. I grew up doing community service with my father at soccer fields on Saturday mornings, and I strive to combine volunteering with theatre.…

While some people may think of event management as a degree in party planning, it is gaining credibility as a legitimate career. The Canadian Tourism Human Resource Council created event management standards which also led to the definition of exactly what an event is (Robertson, 2015). An event is “a social form that organizes interaction in a distinctive way” or the “gathering of three or more people who agree to assemble for a purpose ostensibly related to the functioning of an organization or group” (Beaulie, 2004). According to Michael Auerbach, “in 2006 there were 51,000 event planners in the U.S. and 39% of those were within an event planning company” which demonstrates the grand size of the industry and its obvious importance to society (2015). The purpose of this paper is to explore a career in event planning.…
