Statement Of Purpose Of The Honors Program

Improved Essays
In the Honors Program at the University of North Alabama, I plan to take the steps in order to fulfill my greatest dreams. I hope to meet new people who strive to do the same thing I do - succeed. Being a part of this program would give me the opportunity to demonstrate my talent in being a passionate, hard-working, caring person. Also, within the program, my intelligence would not be pushed aside. I like to think of myself as an intellectual person, yet sometimes it is hard for me to put my ideas and thoughts into words. I think being a part of an organization, or anything bigger than a high school classroom, would allow me to discover things about myself in a new light. I would be able to accomplish so much more than graduating college.

Knowing this, I vowed to keep this God given asset alive and growing with all my soul and might, and what better way to do this than to identify with people of like passion, people who will add to me.…

I also pursued learning outside of my school, by participating in an internship at NIST. In addition, by being a member of the IB program, I believe I have gone through a program that mirrors what the Honors Program describes.…
