Although my high school years are mostly defined through academic success, I would have to say my most meaningful achievements came through the North Carolina FFA. This national organization provides me with countless opportunities to showcase my leadership abilities in my school, community, and state.
Obtaining the positions of Vice President and President of my high school FFA chapter has had an enormous impact on my life. These positions led to serving on nominating committees, planning community events, attending leadership conventions and conferences, and participating in a state-qualifying parliamentary procedure team. It was these experiences that gave me a passion for public speaking and Agribusiness.
