Two years ago, I arrived at Skyline College, Community College, as a high school senior who just got out of High school, I spend my whole summer as the First Generation Summer Scholars Institute at Skyline College, this program prepared me to get ahead in my studies, before starting my first semester in college. A week after this program came to an end, I started my first semester as a college freshman, throughout this semester, I was part of the Trio program and still am, I took advantage of their Math and English tutoring services, they helped me accomplish on passing my classes.
