Statement Of Purpose: Abigail H. Reed

Improved Essays
I, Abigail H. Reed would like to graduate early due to the need to begin working more and hopefully begin attending college. If I was to be approved to graduate early switch my career from fast food to the nursing home so I could begin bringing in more income to support myself. I have began my search for a college to become a special education teacher, with this being said, I will apply for S.E.M.O in hopes of getting accepted. Graduating early will give me the opportunity to get a jumpstart on my dream career and allow me to maintain the need essentials for living on my own. Graduating early greatly helps me, in my situation, allowing me to have more time to focus on the building of my education, rather than repeating or beginning classes

It has come to my knowledge that there is a limited amount of spots in the ENG 102 class for next semester. I am one of the best candidates to continue into ENG 102 and thrive in Ms. Laduca’s learning environment. Although I do not fear that I have not already earned my spot, I will proceed to justify my case. I have been an adroit student of Ms. LaDuca’s for the last year and a half; she knows exactly what kind of student I am. Since seventh grade, I have been an ebullient honors student in the top ten percent of the 2016 cohort and have not received any grades lower than an A. I always exceed expectations, put in 110% of my effort, and achieve and maintain excellent grades at the same time.…

A slate sky hung over the Santa Cruz mountains, loosing a persistent drizzle from swollen, purplish clouds that seemed to bruise the morning. Below, an L-shaped house cut into the steeply inclined corner of Debby Lane and West Park Avenue, its sprawling grounds perched on the rock wall surrounding the property. The front door rested wide on its hinges, framing the red-brick patio and sloping lawn beyond it like a photograph. Inside, Abigail Crawford stood inside the foyer watching the rain fall. The dark orbs of her pupils, filling her wide eyes until little more than a sliver of their color was visible.…

It has come to my attention that my daughter, Samantha Altidor had a meeting with Dr. Banks earlier this week to confirm her to graduate early as you had informed her to do. However I do not understand why Dr. Banks had told her that she needed a 3.6 GPA to qualify to graduate early, when in the 2017-2018 Inlet Grove Handbook states that she only needs a 3.2. Which she has. I do not think it was right that Dr. Banks had informed her she needed a 3.6 GPA now. If it was already written down in handbook for this school year then it wouldn’t be fair to change it now especially since my daughter had began speaking to you about this from the beginning of the school year and you had not mentioned she needed a 3.6 GPA once.…

Because of my love for the state of Idaho, my personal values, and my desire to obtain an education without going into debt, I will be attending Brigham Young University- Idaho in the fall. This institution is situated in a beautiful place in Idaho; central to skiing, climbing, and hiking which is the best, most hands-on way to experience the state. When I envision my life, I see it being rooted in Idaho. Though I may live somewhere else for a few years or travel, I cannot imagine what life would be like in a place where tourism does not involve potatoes and white water rapids. I want to contribute to this state, just like all of the fabulous people I know who have helped me grow into someone I can be proud of.…
