State troopers or State police officers are basically your average police Man or Women, but the jobs needed done by them and the skills needed for the job could be somewhat different. State police officers have the responsibility of keeping law and order across the state, with in their jurisdiction of course. They are also responsible for preparing written memos and reports. The daily routines of state troopers include moving vehicles checks and patrolling. Most likely see them to be the first ones to show up at a car accident on the highway. So they can provide emergency aid and so they can get evidence of the accident that has happen. Troopers will have radar guns in the car to see how fast or slow a driver is going to make sure they are driving at suitable speed. Troopers also have computers they have installed inside kind of like a GPS and also used for searching for cars by using the license plates, if the car were reported stolen or if they were seen as a hit and run or getaway vehicle. Once you get the plate number of the car everything about the car will come up. If it has been in a hit in run before, unpaid speeding tickets, if the driver has a criminal record, etc. Some troopers will carry their riot gear and assault in their patrol car, road spikes for car chases, and the car has different types of police sirens and lights for different problems or jobs.
