A state trooper is facing an OUI charge after being pulled over in Acton Sunday morning.

State Police said an officer pulled over 41-year-old Angela Guerra's personal vehicle on Main Street for driving erratically.

The officer noticed that Guerrera was intoxicated and took her into custody, said police. She was charged with an OUI and failure to stop at a red light.

State Police relieved Guerrera of duty, which places her on administrative leave, pending a formal departmental duty status hearing. She holds the rank of trooper and is assigned to the Recruitment Section.
