Whenever we go the the fair, the mornings are pretty rough. My parents, who insist on getting there as soon as possible, woke up us children just as the sun was rising. We groggily awoke, got dressed, and went on our way. The most interesting part of the drive, was finding a place to park. It usually takes at least thirty minutes. Finally, we found the entrance to a race track, in which they were allowing people to park. After we got to our parking spot, we unloaded and got on our way.

The Exposition Center is a building with aisles upon aisles of products people want you to buy. There are practical items, and then there are items that you didn’t know existed. They seem to make sense to purchase at the time, but end up useless a few months later. My parents always stop at “practical items” that are really boring for kids. However, my dad was particularly hooked on a barrel. He enjoys to have a drink of whiskey every now and then, and this barrel aged it so it was even better.
