Starting Preschool

This is the time in which I have the least memories of. Having the brain of a five-year-old in 2001, I vaguely recall only the faintest of some memories. My perspective; deeply obscured and quite simple. In 2001, I undoubtedly had very few worries in the world, that was until I had been introduced to the American Education system of K-12. Starting preschool was the biggest challenge that I can look back on. Like most other kids on the first day, we were crying and hugging our mothers and fathers. Not wanting to let go as we didn’t want our parents to leave us in such an unfamiliar and strange place.
