Starting College Research Paper

Starting college can be a difficult decision and staying in college can be ever tougher. Motivation and determination is what pushes students to achieve their goals, feel fulfilled and improve overall quality of life. This paper will discuss my motivations for starting college, techniques I have developed to keep going and graduate as well as my personal action plan to stay motived throughout this journey.
One of the first things that motivated me to start college was the feeling of being left behind in my career. Having been in my field of work for more than 20 years, although I am quite knowledgeable in my role, I have been passed over for opportunities that would have accelerated my career had I completed college. This would not be possible without an action plan as a roadmap to success. I have learned many strategies since beginning college and have implemented a blueprint to follow. This started with completing my success plan. By understanding my learning style and using it to my advantage, I make better informed decisions about my approach to learning new things. At the same time, utilizing the tangible and available resources, increases my learning abilities and retention for success. For this same reason, rewards are also a great way to commend myself for a job well done and I have a reward plan in place when a goal has been reached. This provides constant motivation to work hard and reap the benefits throughout my journey.
In conclusion, my college journey will be filled with many ups and downs. Failure is not failure if I try again and this is how I motivate myself for success. The key is not let it be the gateway to letting go of my dreams. I can and will change the world if I stay motivated, and now having the tools and strategies in place, I am confident in my abilities to successful in college and
