Today’s business ventures have a much different look from the start-ups that came about 50 plus years ago. With the fast rise of computers and the internet age, starting a business has become more streamline than ever and more achievable to anyone that is willing to take a chance at making a difference for themselves. The World Wide Web has sparked an excitement within the online company community promoting the creation of more and better tools that make doing business online better than ever.

If you will be providing a product on your site, it will be similar to a service in the manner that you will need to find something that people want or need. Depending on what you choose will determine where you will find your product to sell. For instance: You spend you weekends at yard sales and on Craigslist picking up some good, cheap stuff, but if you want a more formal arrangement, there are wholesalers and distributors for almost any product you need.
