Response Essay
Art is something all around the world. Not all artists are the same, they all have something unique about them. In art class, we watched a video about Vincent van Gogh who was a painter and drawer. The video showed his artwork and had the song “Vincent” by Don McLean playing in the background. We watched this video so we could learn about Van Gogh and to learn how to appreciate art.
While watching, and listening to the video, it me feel at peace and gave me a feeling of joy because I was looking at all Van Gogh’s successful artwork that he created while facing adversity. One painting that stuck out to me that I like is “Starry Night Over the Rhone”, he painted the painting in 1888 in Arles. It was one painting of a four-painting
