A starling is a flying animal known as a bird. It is identifies as a bird thanks to its beak, feathers, and it lays eggs. It is an animal well because it moves and eats other things. Starlings are known as an invasive species. But why. They are invasive because their origin was Europe and then were departed to The United States Of America. Now Starlings can be found all over America. Starlings have tannish almost purplish feathers. With an average wingspan of 12-16 inches. They also have a height of 8 inches and weigh about 2-3 ounces. Overall starlings are pretty small and light. But What possible a creature that small do to harm the environment. Possibly cause over 1million dollars in damage each year.
