Stargirl is an extraordinary story that helped me understand how people can change people, and the big difference it makes our their lives. It showed me that if you have confidence, it makes it a lot easier to get through life. Most importantly it showed that kindness is more than opening a door for someone, it's doing good all around you, which might influence others.
Leo knows that he loves Stargirl the strange yet compelling person she is, but he knew if he showed these feelings than people could judge him or make fun of him.
