There are many things that can make someone courageous. One of them is doing something that everyone doesn’t do, doesn’t like, or makes fun of you about. Being courageous can also mean being brave. An example of bravery is having valor or showing brave spirit. There are a lot of examples of courage and bravery with Stargirl and Leo. Stargirl and Leo do both of these things of bravery and courage in different ways. Stargirl does it in a way that make her look different or weird. Nevertheless, Leo does it in a way by hanging out with someone that is weird or that other people don’t like. Here are some examples of how each of them shows courageousness and which one is more brave and courageous.

One example that shows Stargirl’s courageousness is that on the first day of school, she shows up to school in a grandma style dress, plays her ukulele, sings, and dances during lunch. Another example that Stargirl shows courageousness is when she changes her personality, her clothes, and her name. This is courageous because it takes courage to alter your personality and pretty much convert into a different person. Another way that Stargirl is courageous is when she is cheering for both teams in the basketball and football games, even though everyone else makes fun of her for cheering for the other team. Another example that Stargirl does to show her courageousness is that she changes her name from Susan to Stargirl when she was a kid because she felt like her other name was getting old and she wanted a new name. This is very courageous because it is a very unusual name and the other people would make fun of her for it. One example of something that is courageous that Stargirl does is that she gives random people gifts and goes to their funerals and weddings without being invited. This is very courageous because someone could find out and get mad at her and she would get in trouble but she does it anyway to show gratitude towards the people that celebrate the event. Finally, another thing that Stargirl does that is very courageous is that she joins the Hot Seat even though she knows people are going to tease
