Chapter 7
1) Archie seems to be both wise and confusing, he always talks in riddles. What he means is that Stargirl is true to herself, Leo and Kevin want to act normal, but Stargirl is who we really are. They don’t want to attract any attraction or look embarrassing. Anything could happen, Leo can run in the middle of the field dancing and sing happy birthdays to people, but he doesn’t want to look weird, but Stargirl is still one of them.
2) Archie is basically saying the same thing as the last question. Kevin asked, “so it's just an act?” But Archie responded by saying “An act, no. If anybody is acting, it’s us. She's as real… as Barney” What Archie is saying is that If anybody is acting, it’s Leo and everybody else, but Stargirl is real,

mud frogs live right beneath the ground in a dormant state, their heartbeats are slow and they sleep deeply until life-giving rain frees them. When this happens, they spring to life and their voices ring out. According to Leo, Stargirl is like the rain, she has started an awakening in the students in both their sense of individuality and their feeling of connection to each other.
7) “It was a rebellion she led, a rebellion for rather than against. For ourselves. For the dormant frogs we had been for so long.” This means that we had mean like those frog, which is never fun or happy. When Stargirl comes, the whole school have been more exciting and is not dead any more, it is all because of her reality. Leo and everybody was all acting.
8) Because of Stargirl’s attention, the MAHS have been successful so far. For example, if someone got an A, other celebrate, if someone sprained an ankle, others felt the pain. Kevin Said that it’s a miracle, but Archie responded by saying, “Best hope it’s not – the trouble with miracles are, they don’t last long.” This means that what they did won’t be like that forever, they won’t last
